Well, as you can see by the obnoxious scrolling pictures to the left, I have joined indiepublic. What a cool site. I love the people there. They are all very friendly. Go and take a look at my page. Link on left.

I have finally gotten my first installment check for the mothers day/fathers day fundraiser for my local PTO that I am doing - YYYAAAAAAYYYY!!! Now, all I have to do is get to work! It is a little bit scary and overwhelming to have to make so many things, but I have until April so it should be O.K. Besides, it's not as if I am selling so much on Etsy that I'm not going to have time!! Oh well, things will pick up, right?!?!?!?

First Wholesale Order

Well, I have had my first wholesale order from a lovely lady in Canada. Hmmm . . . my first sale was from Canada as well, I just love those Candians!!!! I was so excited I didn't even cash the check yet before I ran to the post office and mailed out the order! I know this is awfully naive of me, but she is just as trusting as I am (mailing a check with no guarantee of a product). How can you not trust a fellow crafter?!?!?

I guess things are moving along pretty well. No viewers of my silly little blog. Probably because there is hardly anything to see!!

Newest Etsy post

This here is my newest handbag that I like to call "The Nuclear Age." This is the first handbag which I have made from a pattern and now I know why I have been avoiding it!! What a pain. It seems like they make the directions just vague enough that I would have to read the same paragraph a dozen times before I actually got it!! I guess I am just not that bright at times. In any event, there was actually only one casualty and two days lost, so I figure it wasn't too bad. I am hoping to try again with some cotton fabric and maybe that will make it easier. I do not have a teflon foot for my sewing machine so I had to use tissue paper to keep the vinyl from sticking and then sit and pick off the little bits that were stuck under the stitching (whew, what a pain).

Welcome

Hello there and welcome to my first blog!! I am very excited and a little nervous as I am not entirely sure what I should be posting. This will most likely just be project updates and sales updates (so far I have had 2).

A little bit about my new venture into the world of ETSY. My name, un peu de tout by Christine translates into "a bit of everything by Christine," and that is what I do. I LOVE to craft and be creative. Currently I make tote bags, handbags, aprons, coasters, recipe boxes. A bit of everything!!!!

I do not specialize in any particular area (I am not particularly gifted in any particular area). I really just like to make things. I will attempt to post some pics at a later date, as I am not able to undertake that endeavor at the moment.

For any people in the Long Island area I will be appearing at the "Girls Night Out" fair and expo happening on 8/31 @ 7 p.m. at the VFW Hall in Smithtown, New York. Hopefully it will be a full house!
